NEWS CENTER- “We are Growing Solidarity with New Democracy, the Voice of Struggle!” in the cities of Innsbruck, Austria and Basel, Switzerland solidarity nights were held.
Solidarity activities were brought to the masses with our newspaper Yeni Democracy Newspaper, with collective effort, preliminary preparation and a wide range of agitation/propaganda activities, while the attacks of the ruling classes were exposed, calls for solidarity and ownership of our newspaper New Democracy were made.
As a result of this collective effort, night events were held enthusiastically in Innsbruck on 9 October and in Basel on 10 October.
Austria/ Innsbruck
The night of Innsbruck, which took place on October 9, started with a cine-vision and a moment of silence.
Group Umuda Türkü, which operates within the body of ATİGF, first took the stage in the program. The band won the admiration of the audience with the melodies they sang.
The program continued with a speech on behalf of New Democracy. Then Pınar Aydınlar sang her tunes.
A speech on the current process was also held on behalf of Partizan. Partisan representative; In his speech, which started by commemorating those who were martyred in the revolutionary struggle in the person of Chairman Gonzalo, he emphasized that the attacks of the sovereigns were scaled in the process and a great wave of attacks was launched under the pretext of the pandemic.
He called for solidarity with New Democracy, saying that communists continue to resist and struggle in the mountains, factories, universities, that is, in every aspect of life, especially against the attacks aimed at destruction and destruction against revolutionary and communist forces.
After the Partizan representative, the Group Rebellion Fire took the stage. Greeted the audience, the group received great acclaim with the songs they sang. The event ended with dances and slogans.
Switzerland/Basel
Solidarity activities with our newspaper came to an end with a kind of final night in Basel, Switzerland, on October 10.
“We are coming from history, we are walking to the future!” The night program started with the cinevision screening prepared with the slogan.
In the opening speech; “Dear friends, dear comrades; Our newspaper, which has been continuing its publication life for 33 years with a tradition dating back to half a century, is proud to be a product of the struggle of revolutionaries and communists, who have become immortal while walking without hesitation in this fifty-year uninterrupted struggle. We would also like to thank all our comrades who accompanied this honor and our friends who did not spare their efforts.” it was said.
A moment of silence was held in the person of Chairman Gonzalo, the founder and theorist of The Communist Party of Peru, who died on September 11, 2021, and the communist leader of the Peruvian proletariat, for those immortalized in the revolution, socialism and national liberation struggles around the world.
Then Hozan Cömert, who did not compromise his struggle throughout his life, took the stage in the program.
After Hozan Cömert, a speech was made on behalf of our newspaper. In the speech, “Since January 3, 2018, our newspaper has stood against liquidationism, reformism and all kinds of reaction, by not compromising our revolutionary publishing line. The process we are in shows the development of right liquidationism and reformism; attacks on proletarian ideology and revolutionary struggle intensified; It is a process in which the masses are wanted to be governed by the dreams of intra-order politics.” Speech: “Our newspaper New Democracy will be the inexhaustible anger of the working class and toiling masses against all attacks of fascism and all reformist-revisionist movements.” It ended with an emphasis.
After the speech, artist Pınar Aydınlar took the stage and sang her anthems and melodies.
Devrimci Cephe and Öncü Partizan also participated in the solidarity event and offered their support.
In its written message, Öncü Partizan stated, “Today, it is more necessary than ever to strengthen our revolutionary-socialist broadcasting tradition, which is an important position for us to reach the working and laboring masses in the revolutionary struggle.”
After the solidarity messages, Grup İsyan Ateşi was appreciated by singing the fight anthems.
